How will Tulsa's Leadership Vision communicate it's agenda and ideas?
TLV may utilize any number of approaches to engage the community and to communicate its findings and recommendations to improvement goernment operations. These could include: community and neighborhood forums, direct email, TV, radio, email and website outreach, press releases and other methods to build grassroots support and educate the public regarding the key issues, challenges, and opportunities for Tulsa's future. The main communication goal for TLV will be to create the message, get out in front with the message and drive the community conversation about decisions effecting Tulsa's future. At times this may involve partnering with other public or private entities whose agenda is consistent with the mission, values, and goals of TLV.
What are the financial advantages of those who support funding Tulsa's Leadership Vision?
B. TLV strategies for achieving the objectives:
1. Create a non-partisan Board of Directors,
2. File the proper and appropriate documents to
create the 501 (c) 3 organization.
3. Contract for professional services to administer
and manage the operations of TLV.
4. When necessary, contract with a professional
company to develop the creative messaging
program and design.
5. Through the Board and the membership, arrive at
a consenses to prioritize the key issues/topics where
TLV will begin its education, research, and advocacy
efforts.
6. Develop and execute an effective fundraising
process to adequately support the efforts of the TLV.
7. When necessary for the success of selected
projects, form joint ventures of collaboration with
local resources from the public and provate
